Take Care of Your Mojo

In the last couple of weeks I’ve been slightly neglectful in writing posts, but only because I’ve been working on something big.

I’m producing a ten page document that lists 38+ ways to promote yourself, online and offline. I’m pretty excited about it and can’t wait to offer it as a free download for visitors to my blog and website. As soon as I’ve had a chance to edit it and post it, you’ll be the first to know.

For now, I’ll leave you with two awesome links. One video is of an interview and showcase of Vivienne Westwood working through her ideas on art and design. Have you heard of Vivienne Westwood? She’s a well-known fashion designer.

In this link you will get a glimpse into how she uses her time away from running a successful business to rejuvenate and feed her creative juices.

  • How two elementary school children inspired one of her collections.
  • How a visit to the national museum in London infuses her with wonder and awe.
  • How a brainstorming session with her team on the planning and execution of her collection can be intense and exciting.
  • How craftsmanship plays a big part in the process of extraordinary work.

The other link is of a sculpture park in Grenada. The underwater sculpture park is the work of sculptor Jason Taylor from England and briefly explains his passion for creating amazing and unique pieces of work that are not only haunting and inspiring, but also helping restore endangered coral reefs.

This short video  is truly outstanding.

I hope these videos touch you as they did me and that you go away with ideas on how to take care of your heart and mind, which is the place where your creativity and passion resides.

So, grab a cup of java (or tea if you prefer) and get ready to become  inspired by creative and accomplished professionals.
